The 4th Transnational Meeting of ErISFaVIA Project was Held at Our University


4th Transnational Meeting of ErISFaVIA Project (Early Intervention Services for Families with Children with Vision Impairment and Additional Disabilities-2019-1-EL01-KA201-062886 approved by the Erasmus+ Programme Key Action 2) was held on 28-29 April, hosted by our university. Six partner countries, totally nine organizations' representatives participated to this meeting.

At the official opening of the meeting on Thursday, April 28, Vice Rector of our University and the legal representative of ErISFaVIA project, Prof. Dr. Yaşar BÜLBÜL, welcomed to all our guests. On Friday, April 29, other project partner from our country, Ayse Nurtac Sozbir Gunebakan Association for the Children with Multiple Disabilities with Visual Impairment and their Families (ANSGA) hosted the participants, at Barbaros Special Education and Practice School. Most of the ANSGA members' children receive education from this school. In this part of the meeting, the President of the Association Handan Gürtekin presented the brief history of ANSGA and its actions including the works performed in terms of ErISFaVIA Project. While the representatives of the project partner organizations introduced themselves and their institutions one by one at this gathering, some of the parents who were also the members of ANSGA attended the meeting.
