Haydarpaşa High School, one of the oldest and most established educational institutions of our country, is temporarily conducting its educational activities at our University's Göztepe Campus.

Haydarpaşa High School Principal Vahdet Kemal Oral and Haydarpaşa Education Foundation President Emin Gökalp Baş visited our Rector Prof. Dr. Gülfettin Çelik to consult about the opening of the new semester.

The opening of the 90th semester of Haydarpaşa High School for the 2023-2024 academic year was held at our University Aşık Paşa Conference Hall. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Gülfettin Çelik, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Yaşar Bülbül and Prof. Dr. Fatih Sarıoğlu also attended the opening program hosted by our university.

In the new semester opening program, after the band show, certificates and badges were presented to the new graduates who ranked in the top thousand in the university exam and to the students who placed in the English and German Preparatory Class of the school. In addition, inspirational speeches were delivered to the new students by former graduates who graduated first in their universities.

The opening lecture of the 90th term of Haydarpaşa High School was given by our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yaşar Bülbül.

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Gülfettin Çelik stated that after the protocol to be signed with Haydarpaşa High School, our University's Ziraat Bank Library and multi-purpose hall facilities can be used within the scope of activities that will improve education and training.
