A collaboration protocol was signed between our university and the Green Crescent Society of Türkiye and the Green Crescent Foundation of Türkiye for the studies to be carried out in the field of combating addiction.

The protocol was signed by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Gülfettin Çelik, and the President of the Green Crescent Society of Türkiye, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dinç.

On April 21, 2025, our Vice Rectors, Prof. Dr. Yaşar Bülbül and Prof. Dr. Nuriye Akbay, also attended the protocol signing ceremony held at the Green Crescent Headquarters.

The scope of the cooperation includes the following activities:

- Organizing seminars, conferences, trainings, and workshops on addiction issues

- Spreading awareness through student clubs

- Establishing national and international project partnerships

- Encouraging academic research and publication activities

This protocol aims to enhance the effectiveness of public health studies through university-community collaboration and to promote the adoption of a healthy lifestyle among young people.
