Webometrics Ranking Web of Universities, which assesses universities according to the volume, presence, and impact of their web content, listed 11,988 universities from all around the globe in its January 2021 edition. Istanbul Medeniyet University ranks the 2449th among all these 11,988 universities globally and the 63rd among a total of 212 universities listed from Turkey.
Of the three performance indicators used to assess the higher education institutions in the ranking, IMU is 8206th in Impact, 1251st in Openness, and 1976th in Excellence globally.
