Physical and chemical analyzes of tobacco products other than cigarettes (ISO1515152-ISO1515153) can be performed in the "Istanbul Medeniyet University-Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Tobacco and Tobacco Products Analysis, Research and Development Laboratory" established within the scope of the protocols signed between our university and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. 

In this context, our laboratory was added to the list of laboratories approved by the ministry in the categories of Cigar, Cigarillo, Hookah Tobacco Products, Pipe Tobacco Products, and Rolled Shredded Tobacco Products.

Our laboratory, which will be able to perform the analyzes required by the legislation during the production, export/import and market supply stages of tobacco and tobacco products, has started sample acceptance and analysis as the first independent service laboratory in this scope in Turkey. As a result of this cooperation between our University and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the analyzes that can only be carried out abroad until today are carried out for the first time in our country with the Tobacco and Tobacco Analysis Research and Development Laboratory of our University.
