The Medeniyet Cultural Research Bulletin (MEDBEL), published by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Istanbul Medeniyet University, has reached its ninth issue. Bringing together original research from different disciplines, the journal continues to make valuable contributions to academic production.

Since its inception, MEDBEL has attracted the attention of a wide academic community and has increased its national and international visibility by being indexed in ASOS Index, ResearchBib, ROAD, and MLA International Bibliography.

The 9th issue of MEDBEL features a total of 17 original articles and 1 book review reflecting its interdisciplinary approach. The studies in this issue, written in the fields of History (9), Turkish Language and Literature (3), Art History (2), Sociology (1), Linguistics (1), and Russian Language and Literature (1), attract attention with their original approaches and methodological rigor. The articles are built on a strong body of literature and solid academic foundations, aiming to make meaningful contributions to the knowledge base of the relevant disciplines.

Edited by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abidin Karasu and Dr. Oktay Çınar, MEDBEL continues to offer rich content based on critical thinking in this issue with its publication policy that prioritizes scientific pluralism and an interdisciplinary perspective.
