The 3rd Medeniyet Olympics, which combine university culture with the Olympic spirit, began with football matches, with 70 teams applying.

Within the scope of the Olympics, a total of 1,212 applications were made in 10 branches for the sports tournaments, which attracted great interest from our students. The team pairings for the football tournament were determined by a draw held on December 29, 2025, at the Ziraat Bank Hall of the Central Library at . The draw was conducted by our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yaşar Bülbül and our Deputy Secretary General Yıldırım Tilaver. A total of 9 matches were played between the teams determined by the draw on December 30 and 31, 2025.

Competitions in other sports will begin according to the event calendar to be published on sks.medeniyet.edu.tr after the final exams are completed.

Applications for the other three categories included in the 3rd Medeniyet Olympics—Cultural Competitions, Project Competitions, and Techno Competition—will begin to be accepted at olimpiyat.medeniyet.edu.tr starting in April 2026.
