Techno-Entrepreneurship School Starts!
The project “Improving Techno-Entrepreneurship in Youth from Low-Income Families” has been accepted for the 1st project call period of the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports. The project’s corporate coordination is assumed by our Young Future Student Club and academic coordinator is Assoc. Prof. Bilal Çankır of the Management Department at the Faculty of Political Sciences. The project aims to improve the techno-entrepreneurship levels in youth from low-income families. To this end, young individuals will be provided training on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, techno-entrepreneurship, developing a business culture, drafting business plans, finance, effective presentation techniques, networking, strategical management and marketing.
The courses will be given at weekends in the training center of Sancaktepe Municipality. The training and mentoring processes will take about 16 weeks and an event will be organized with experts to present the resulting project ideas. At the end of the project, it is planned to take successful young individuals to a trip to the Silicon Valley in the US, to realize project ideas through the help of investors, and to publish and academic book.
