International students learning Turkish at the Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center (İMÜ TÖMER) had the opportunity to relieve the tiredness of the year at the picnic to welcome summer.

The students were accompanied by the lecturers and administrators of the institution at the picnic, which was supported by Istanbul Medeniyet University and held at the place called Jozef'in Yeri in Polonezköy at the end of the semester.

The students, who met in front of the İMÜ TÖMER office early in the morning on the picnic day, got on the buses allocated by Tuzla Municipality and reached Polonezköy in a short time. The students, who suddenly found themselves in a lush forest, could not hide their astonishment. The fresh and clean air of Polonezköy was followed by breakfast tables filled with delicious foods specially prepared for them. After enjoying breakfast with a pleasant conversation and taking lots of photos, the students took a nature walk in Polonezköy and had a good time together by playing various games such as football, volleyball and badminton.
