Our Institute of Graduate Studies is Accepting Students for 49 Graduate Programs in the 2025-26 Spring Semester

Istanbul Medeniyet University Institute of Graduate Studies offers a wide range of programs in the Spring semester of the 2025-26 academic year for students who want to take their academic career a step further. A total of 49 thesis Master's, non-thesis Master's, and doctoral programs in fundamental fields such as Education, Science, Mathematics, Philology, Fine Arts, Law, Theology, Engineering, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Administrative Sciences will be accepting students this semester.

Twenty-eight of these programs are Thesis Master's programs designed to encourage students to gain in-depth knowledge and conduct original research. The list of thesis Master's programs accepting students this year is as follows:

  20. Management of Non-Governmental Organizations

This semester, six of our programs that will accept students are non-thesis master's programs that adopt a more practical and applied approach, enabling students to gain skills relevant to the sector. The list of non-thesis master's programs that will accept students this year is as follows:

  1. Distance Education in Educational Institution Management
  2. Islamic Banking and Finance (Second Cycle)
  3. Human Development and Education (Evening Program)
  4. Political Science and Public Administration (Evening Program)
  5. Local Governance and Urban Planning (Evening Program)
  6. Management Economics 2nd Education

Our doctoral programs, which are open to applicants who wish to make original contributions to the scientific knowledge of humanity and our country and pursue an academic career, comprise 14 of the programs that will be accepting students this year:

  1. Nutrition and Dietetics
  2. Biomedical Engineering
  3. Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  4. Public Law
  5. Clinical Anatomy
  6. Finance
  7. Molecular Oncology
  8. Nanoscience and Nanotechnology
  9. Private Law
  10. Political Science and Public Administration (English)
  11. Political Science and Public Administration (Turkish)
  12. Sociology
  13. Medical Biochemistry
  14. Turkish Language and Literature
  15. International Relations

While most of our programs accepting students this semester are related to established disciplines, some of our programs are interdisciplinary in nature, based on the principle of evaluating the methods and knowledge of different disciplines in the study of specific areas. These are:

  1. Master's Program in Forensic Sciences with Thesis
  2. Master's Program in Environmental and Energy Systems Engineering with Thesis
  3. Master's Program in Human Development and Education (Non-Thesis)
  4. Master's Program in Management of Non-Governmental Organizations with Thesis

While the language of instruction for most of our programs accepting students this semester is Turkish, the Master's Program in Molecular Biology and Genetics with Thesis, the Master's and Doctoral Programs in International Ottoman Studies with Thesis, and the Doctoral Program in Political Science and Public Administration will be taught in English. Designed for students who want to establish a strong position in international academic platforms, these programs offer an educational opportunity open to both Turkish and foreign students.

We also have new programs that will welcome new students in the Spring 2025-2026 semester. These are:

  1. Master's Degree Program in Artificial Intelligence Engineering with Thesis
  2. Human Development and Education Non-Thesis Master's Program
  3. Doctoral Program in Nutrition and Dietetics
  4. Public Law Doctorate Program
