Times Higher Education (THE), which is considered the most credible institution that evaluates higher education achievements globally, has announced the results for the ‘World University Rankings 2023’, in which Istanbul Medeniyet University ranks the 801–1000th globally and the 8th among a total of 61 universities from Turkey.
Higher education institutions from 104 countries and regions were included in this year’s list of Times Higher Education (THE), which has been accepted as the most reliable ranking system that has listed the best universities around the world every year since 2010. In this current version of the THE World University Rankings, which represents the largest and most diverse university rankings to date, the universities were evaluated in terms of Education/Training, Research, Citation, Industrial Income, and International Visibility criteria and were ranked according to their achievement scores.
Istanbul Medeniyet University has been ranked the 801–1000th globally in THE World University Rankings 2023, maintaining its rank from last year. It has been ranked the 8th in Turkey among a total of 61 universities, sharing its rank with another five Turkish universities. It has achieved great success by being ranked the 550th globally and the 3rd in Turkey in the Citations category with a score of 66.4.
