A Sociological Approach to the Pandemic by our Faculty Member


The effects of the new coronavirus on all aspects of our society are examined by our faculty members in different media channels. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar of the Sociology Department of our Faculty of Arts and Humanities has published an article on the website of the Social Structure Studies Program, in which he investigates the sociological impacts of the pandemic.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sunar analyzes the pandemic’s effects in the near future in Turkish society around the concepts of inequality, employment and impoverishment, pointing out to the possible challenges for the poor and unsecured social segments.
