Transportation

IMU’s main campus area in Göztepe is located in the heart of Istanbul on Anatolian side and is easily accessible by several public transport systems from both sides of the city, including the metro (subway), metrobus (BRT), and Marmaray (an undersea rail tunnel under the Bosphorus strait that links the two sides of the city), as well as public buses traveling to all corners of the city. Soon, in 2017, the Eurasian Tunnel, a highway tunnel joining Asia and Europe under the seabed, will be opened and one of the exit points will be in Göztepe, allowing for more rapid road transport between the Asian and Anatolian sides.
